Inside kennels

Waterloo Kennels

Situated in open countryside, away from traffic,
we offer a magical countryside adventure for your dog.

Treated as if they are ‘home-from-home’ our canine guests are given a “real farm adventure break” - plenty of good farm walks, lots of fun and games and individual loving care. Special attention for every dog is paramount. and being a family business, we offer a high standard of care and a relaxed atmosphere in a peaceful, rural environment.

Instead of a just a few minutes break in an enclosed concrete yard, our guests enjoy generous walks in open countryside and attractive woodland set in over 40 acres surrounding the farmhouse.

"The area in which the kennels are situated is beautiful with fields and woodland surrounding them. The kennels themselves were clean and spacious  and also had a small outside area attached to each kennel in case the dogs want some fresh air . . .
I would highly recommend boarding your dogs here."
Sophie

We encourage owners to bring the dog’s own bed to increase their comfort, their lead, and any toys and balls they enjoy playing with, so that there is as little change as possible from their usual routine.

" Just wanted to say thank you so much for looking after Brooke for us this weekend , she clearly had a fantastic time playing with all her pals, it was great to see her so happy and looking so shiny after her bath you gave her before she came home ! She slept the whole evening probably dreaming of her holiday. We are so pleased to have found you and even though you are an hour away from us it is definitely worth the journey knowing that she will be so well looked after. Many thanks". Tina & Mick

It is usually best to keep your dog on its normal diet so we ask you to bring your dog’s own food and any favourite dog treats they enjoy at home.

By deciding on Waterloo Kennels, Cheltenham you can be confident that, while you are enjoying your own holiday, your dog will be having a fantastic farm adventure break!

Liz has a wonderful regime at Waterloo Kennels. Clean, tidy and warm. Liz and her staff are totally dedicated and the dogs individual needs are the priority. Happy dogs that get proper exercise every day. I am so pleased to have found these kennels as a half-way house for some of our rescued Labradors.

Thank you so much Liz to you and all your lovely staff for all that you have done over this past year for Labrador Rescue. Finding Waterloo Kennels was a real God-send, because you always go the extra mile to help us and the dogs that come your way.
It is very much appreciated.

Thank you for looking after my dogs so wonderfully. When we picked them up they were obviously very happy to see us but there was no sign of stress and they were all very calm. Libby especially is quite a different dog.

As you know I was concerned from the outset that she might be a problem for you but the 24 hr stay alleviated that and she became more responsive to people although still wary. However since we've brought her home she seems even more relaxed. We have had much less barking and even let complete strangers stroke and fuss her.

Whilst we were waiting for them to come back from their walk we were looking at all the lovely pics and it looked even better than I thought, all those fields beautiful woodland, they would have been in their element. I am so happy to have found you and couldn't recommend you highly enough.

If we go out of the country again they will definitely be staying with you.  Once again thank you so much.

Thanks for looking after Winston, he obviously was entirely at home, in fact he looks a bit brassed off to be back with me.”

Thanks as ever for all your support with Lenny and Archie, we really appreciate all your help with their "challenges!"

- Waterloo Kennels have been an integral part in the development of our lucky rescue dogs. Often arriving nervous and fearful, they leave happy and well-balanced, with their confidence boosted. We refer to Waterloo Kennels as the "doggie retreat" due to the fantastic care the entire team give to our dogs, not to mention the luxurious standards which are over and above any kennels we have ever come across.

We could not be happier to leave our dogs with such an experienced team and neither could the dogs, we feel extremely lucky to have the support of Waterloo Kennels. -

Zac came for a 24 hour taster stay and at the end of that couldn't decide if he wanted to go home or stay on with you! The chance to be exercised with other like minded dogs and off lead ensuring a good run in surroundings similar to those he is used to at home is exactly what he needs. It is great to know that when I go away that Liz and family are looking after Zac and that he is enjoying his holiday as much as I do mine. He will be back soon!
